Story 8. At the Playground
It's a sunny morning and I want to go for a walk. I take my magic apple to say “hi” to Pinky. She answers “Hello, Greeny” and I can see that she is not at home.
“Where are you, Pinky?” – I ask.
“I'm at the playground. Come here!”
“But Pinky, I never go to the playground – there are so many children, they can see us!”- I say.
“Ha-ha! Greeny, it's early morning and there are no children, we can play.”
“Ok”
And I appear next to Pinky under the tree at the playground. She has something red and round in her hands. Pinky throws it to me and I catch it.
“What's this?”- I ask.
“It's a Frisbee. Do you like it?”
“Yes, I like Frisbee very much!”
She throws it again but I cannot catch the Frisbee and it flies into the net. When we come to the net we see a football.
“Pinky, let's play football!” – I say.
“Greeny, girls don't play football. Come here, I will show you the slide” – and Pinky goes up the slide and slides down.
“Wow, I want to try it!” And I also slide.
Then Pinky runs to the swing and swings back and forth, back and forth. I also get on the next swing and start swinging. We laugh. Then I see something green flying in the sky.
“What's that, Pinky?”
“Oh, it's a kite. Children like to fly it when it's windy, it's so much fun.”
Then we look at each other:
“Children??? Let's hide!”
“Teeny-Beeny-Greeny” – and we disappear.
At home I take the magic apple and say “Thank you, Pinky. Now I like to play at the playgrounds very much!”
